The rich history of this great church continues to be written under the leadership of Dr. Jelynn Martin. Come grow with us.

Dr. Jelynn A. Martin is a native of Massillon, Ohio. She is a graduate of Wittenberg University and Wright State University. She was called into ministry at the age of 19 and was ordained an Elder by The United Holy Church of America in 2012. In 2016, she was elected President of The United Holy Church Northwestern District Education Department. Dr. Martin is also a member of The Northwestern District Board of Presbytery. In addition to serving at the district level, she also serves as the Financial Secretary for The General Education Department of The United Holy Church.

She is noted for her teaching as she is preaching style and presenting biblical topics and materials in ways that are both challenging and engaging. She preaches messages that present the transformative power of God in ways that are practical and sometimes unconventional. Her service in ministry extends beyond the spoken word and into music. She is the lead vocalist for her family gospel group, The Stinson Family Singers. They have been spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ for over 25 years. She enjoys taking advantage of the never-ending learning opportunities in health and wellness. She is the founder of Total Fitness Ministries, a faith-based health and wellness ministry focused on assisting individuals in reaching the spiritual and physical goals necessary for living a healthier lifestyle. Because Dr. Martin is an avid learner; she is presently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Church Leadership from Regent University's School of Divinity.

Dr. Martin is a bi-vocational pastor. In addition to serving as the pastor of Mount Sinai, she works as a Global Research Toxicologist for Bayer. She serves in the community as a board member for The L.E.A.D. With Purpose Academy, Columbus, Ohio and collaborates with other organizations in Summit County in volunteer capacities. Through her roles outside of the church, Dr. Martin is committed to finding employment opportunities for youth and underrepresented groups in STEM related fields.

She enjoys most of all spending time with her family. On a daily basis, Dr. Martin experiences the love of God through the man that He created just for her, Minister Michael L. Martin, Jr. Together they operate in ministry following God as He leads them. They thank God daily for the opportunities that He has set before them. They have a hope that God will continue to do a new thing through them.
